Can Toku Flow cause gastrointestinal (GI) discomfort?Updated 20 days ago

Certain people may experience mild GI discomfort in the first few days, especially if their body isn’t used to the amount or type of fiber (oat beta glucan) in the formula. This is usually a sign that your gut microbiome is adjusting, and it often resolves within a week or two as your system acclimates. In the meantime, we recommend:

  • Staying well hydrated (fiber needs water to move smoothly through your system)
  • Taking Toku with food, especially in the beginning
  • You’re doing exactly the right thing by adjusting the dose — starting low (like ¼ tsp) and slowly building up can help your body ease into it.
